Hey guys, thanks for taking the time to view my thread.
First things first, the setup:

i5 3570k @4.2
970 x2 SLI
16gb ram 1800mhz (i think)
Windows 7 64 hp

So a while ago I would get 300-500fps in csgo and now I'm only getting 130-280
I know the game updates and can cause fps drops but surely not this much.

So far I've:
reinstalled drivers
played with power settings
overclocked cpu to 4.4 and 4.6 (no noticeable difference)
put cpu back to stock (slightly less fps)
played with lots of difference csgo settings/"fixs"

Any ideas, comparisons if you have a similar cpu and help is much appreciated.

Cheers from the uk, John

just seems to me a poorly optimized game and you take what ever they give you thins is you agreed to mandatory updates and content with them rentel games and if they help or hurt you , well too bad so sad ?

with that 3ed party involvement you don't know if its you and your system or them screwing you around
