I am completely new to this OC field. As the title states, I have an i5-3570K at 4.2GHz @ 1.16v. It passes Prime95 without going over 60c. Is 4.2 too little? (in that case I could raise voltage to compensate) or should I keep trying to lower my vcore until I find a solid OC?

Thanks. All criticism will be loved

What is the preferred step from where I am now? Up the OC to 4.4 and fiddle with voltages until it's stable, or continue to decrease the voltages until I find a stable point with 4.2?

So leaving my voltages the way they are, I would essential raise my CPU ratio slowly until my computer crashes.
Then at that point, I have one of two choices: I could raise voltages or drop CPU ratio, is that correct?
