I5-3570k and radeon 7950

Want to overclock and head room for 2 way crossfire.
I looked at 850w, Overkill? thanks

Actually, you're too low. Look into 1000w or more.
Overclocking can add 100w pretty quickly and those 7950's are roughly 350w each putting a stock xfire rig at about 850w without even overclocking a thing. Add in OC and or OC'd gpus and you might even need 1200w to be at 70% usage on the psu.

Are you sure because on partpicker its says with no OC and crossfire it is 576w and im guessing it will add 250w from OC...

A good psu with 750w will do, you can get also one with 850w if you like.

The two card will not draw not even near 500w max load, even with oc it will not surpass 400w max load, lol.

It's also modular it's as good as the xfx 850w XXX edition, but it's more expensive, the xfx is a seasonic oem psu.

my bad.. and overclocked 7950 will draw about 350w... stock is about 225w depending on the card and its clock.
I'll blame the flu for my error
