i5-3570k, Gigabyte z77x 4.ghz Issues

Hey, I am attempting to overclock my i5-3570k to 4.5ghz

Build:
i5-3570k
Gigabyte z77x-ud3h
Asus Radeon HD 7850 DCII
TX 650 V2
8gb Corsair Vengeance

Current Results:

1. I'm having trouble stabilizing 4.4-4.5ghz, but I have to raise my Vcore up too much.
2. Can anyone explain why under load, voltages +~0.020v?

Well the most importunate thing to remember is that not all chips will overclock to the same amount even with the same voltage increase. Personally I only overclock to the point I do not have to raise the voltage. I just do not feel comfortable raising the stock voltage but that is just me.

If you are having to raise the voltage to much then that means you need to back off on the overclock some. Only overclock to the point you will not harm your hardware. Even at 4.3-4.4 you are still getting a good overclock from a CPU with a base clock of 3.4. I overclocked my i5 3570K to 4 with just a multiplier oc and it is still really fast for my needs.
