which one is better for gaming overclocked i5 3570k or stock i7 3770?
i7 costs more than i5 and my money is limited.

For gaming, the i5-3570K would be the better buy. The hyper-threading of the i7-3770 is unnecessary..... unless you're gaming at 4K, at which point the HT has shown some advantages.

The i5 is unlocked, so you can potentially overclock (if you have a motherboard & cooler that'll support it adequately).

This also assumes you already have a motherboard - I'm thinking this might be an upgrade from an i3? If so, that's fine. If not, you might want to look at newer releases.
it depends on what Gpu you have and what games you play. Personally I'd get the i7 3770 it will last you years to come and will not bottleneck any card currently.

I have an i7 4790, which is only a little bit better than the i7 3770 and I have a gtx 1070 and it works perfect, so the i7 3770 would aswell.

I play games like battlefield 4, SW battlefront, DOOM, Witcher 3, far cry primal.
