Hey guys, I just want an opinion on my overclock and wondering if everything is at safe level.

i5-3570k stock @ 3.40ghz

I have overclocked to:

4.40ghz
1.212v

Idles at 20c
I ran AIDA64 for 1hr and average temp was 45c, maximum temp was 52c.

I use a Noctua 2 fan cooler.

Let me know what you guys think, Thanks.

You need to be stable in Prime 95 small FFT test for 10 to 12 hours to be sure an overclock is stable. Passing Intel Burn test is a good idea too.

1.236v seems to be stable in games, no more crashing...
Of course temps are up a bit but only a few degrees.

I'm not sure about the 20c idle now... I was reading that in easytune 6 (no longer use it)
But through the bios it says 35c at idle, maybe because i changed it to constant voltage...

Ok so I ran prime95, all good... I also ran Intel Burn Test on maximum here is my result:

Time (s) Speed (GFlops) Result
137.646 118.0996 3.198844e-002

Is that good....? lol

I never paid attention to the results of IBT, I just use it like Prime 95 to see if a system is stable.

How were your temps when running Prime?
