Hey guys I literally just bought a used 3570K about a month ago for $150 and it just got delivered today because of some shipping complications, but lately I've been seeing a lot of fuss over the 4690K and Haswell architecture. So would it be really be worth it to just resell the 3570K for the same price I bought and and try and scoop the 4690K for another $50?

It depends, if you already have a motherboard for your 3570k then I'd say the performance boost (about 10% at most) isn't worth the cost of a new motherbaord + $50 extra for a 4690k, however if you have not got a motherboard yet and have $50 spare, and can be bothered with the hassle of reselling, there's no reason not to buy the newest tech (4690k).

Yeah I already own the motherboard. So stick with what I have?
