I5 3570k vs i5 6600

Could a overclocked i5 3570k outperform i5 6600 and if it can what sort of overclock would you need to out perform the i5 6600

not much, maybe 20% the 6600 has a 0.1 lower base clock and a 0.1 higher turbo.

The 3570K turbos to 3.8Ghz. without overclock. The i5-6600 turbos to 3.9Ghz. so there is almost no difference. A small overclock to 4.0-4.2Ghz. should whoop the Skylake easily.
