Hello,

I am getting the I5-3570k with the ASRock extreme 4 mobo

I play some cpu intensive games and i want to know the temps i can be getting

I am not overclocking with the stock cooler

So should i have anthing to worry about with the stock cooler not being enough

on stock clocks?
case- THOR v2

Thanks!

As long as you ar not overclocking it should be fine. If it does start to overheat even at stock settings you will have to ge a new fan/heatsink but I really don't think it will be a problem.

For the stock heatsink the temps are going to be kind of high when gaming but once you get the Hyper212 installed you should be looking at mid 30's to low 40's at idle and 50's under load. Do not overclock the CPU on the stock heatsink the stock heatsink can not handle the extra heat created by overclocking. Once you get a good aftermarket cooler you should be able to get around 4.4 or 4.5 GHz.
