i5 4430 haswell on old psu

hey
i am building a new system tomorrow the new system specs are :
i5 4430
msi b85g41
Gtx 750 evga no SC 1 giga
msi b85 g41 pc mate
old psu 400w

the problem is i read that you need a haswell compatible PSU to use the c6/c7, now i don't really care about the c6/c7 mode but help me with something here :
as i understand this c6/c7 mode can be disabled from the MOBO or it will come already disabled, but say i don't disable, it from what i understood that this c6/c7 mode can only happens in sleep mode so if i disable it and only turn the screen off the problem would be fixed??

It's not compatibility, but rather certification. The PSU should still work assuming it conforms to ATX standards.

it is i had it on my old build but the question is how can i avoid it ? stay off the sleep mode or what shall i do?

Just disable it within BIOS. It may mean that the PSU uses a few more watts than it otherwise would, but that's no big deal.

yep thanx , but if i dont go to sleep mode it will not happen even with it being enabled?

That's right, if you disable sleep mode or standby then low-power states shouldn't kick-in. I'd still disable it in the BIOS just to be sure though.
