Yes it will be great.

No need to pay extra for a Z87 motherboard. Save money and go with a B85 or H87/97 motherboard.

A 500-600w psu would be more than enough unless you want to add a 2nd video card in which case you need to keep that Z87 motherboard.

800w psu is insane bro go for sure in a 600w psu +80 plus, and save same money, also in the mobo, b85 is just fine, save the money of that mobo and buy a 4570

I will not pick your parts as you know what you need and how much you will spend anyway...The i5 4440 is a very good CPU and offers pretty decent price to performance...It is roughly as fast as a i5 2500K at stock speeds in most applications and games. I like the B85 chipset Motherboards more than the H81 chipset mostly due to the PCI-3.0. And the Vangaurd aslo looks pretty snappy. I would recommend a RAM kit though as there might be issues even with the same model RAM that are separately sold..Usually it works fine but Little things may not work like the XMP profile on one stick.

For sure...The more i5 4570, 4670, 4670K is the bang for your buck processor , depending on where you live. I got an i5 3570k last spring for about $200 after tax in Canada on a sale....good CPU for lots of things. The Xeon E3 1200 series V1,V2, are great CPUs and some I believe the E3 1240 V2 is clocked about the same as an i7 3770k but is more expensive. I heard that in some games that Xeon E3 1240 does not perform as well as an i7 3770...I would like to find out if this is true.

Not true. They would perform the same. They have the same base clock and the 3770 only has a 100mhz advantage in turbo speed. That is negligible.

I figured since it would be roughly the same based on the Similar Clock speed...I cannot recall where I read about the Xeon gaming performance...It was probably on an old thread on this forum
