so i had a problem with my z97 fatality killer ram issues i recievved the motherboard used with 4x2 gb ram. so i used 4x4 of my own ddr3 ram sticks andf its wouldnt boot which lead me to the conclusion my A1 and A2 ram slots r brokenis it possible because my ram is 2000mhz and the ram that wa sin it where 1333 mhz could this be why 2 just stopped working???

1866MHz or 2133MHz are the common (closest to 2000MHz) speed ratings of DDR3.

Highly unlikely that 2133MHz would kill RAM slots. My brother is/was running 2133MHz kit without issue on his 4th gen for many years.

Have you tested each of the 4 sticks installed one at a time to see if one is faulty? And/or tested 1 stick in 1 slot works without issue, then moved that one stick to A1/A2 and it didn't?
