Im currently running i5 4440 & gtx 770 and i've decided to upgrade my pc for the Battlefield 1.
I've been waiting for the Pascal cards to come out and now wondering if my cpu will bottleneck the 1080 or even the 1070? :s
If not do i need to upgrade my cooling system? Im only running stock atm..
Some people were saying that i5 4440 would work just fine with 980 Ti and 1070 is around the same in terms of performance so im guessing my cpu shouldnt cause issues?
Thanks.

first of all, you can't overclock an i5 4440 so a new aftermarket cooler won't really help you. The stock cooler should be good good enough to cool your cpu at stock clockspeed.

The i5 4440 is still a very decent cpu and it most likely won't cause a major bottleneck for the upcoming gtx 1070 (it also doesn't really bottleneck a 980ti). The gtx 1080 on the other hand is looking to be a beast of a gpu so If you were to invest in that, you might as well upgrade to an i5 6600k or i7 6700k with aftermarket cooler.

hoped this helped :)
