I just got the GTX 1050 ti ... and after about 30 minutes of gaming I'm getting some drops in the FPS .... could this be the CPU ?

Solution
That i5 shouldn't be a bottleneck for the GPU, any drops you are getting sound like they are a result of your graphics card being pushed too hard.

They get a bit high but just for a sec and go back down ... and even if its down .. I still have drops ..

I dont think that GTA V on high should be a problem for my GPU ..
I had GTX 750 and I played just fine ....

That sounds like thermal throttling to me, you mentioned that the temperatures get a bit high then drop back down, what do you mean by a bit high? I would also run a quick malware scan to make sure your pc is clean, sometimes malware can use resources and push your components harder than necessary.

Wow that's a lot. Maybe a memory issue? How much RAM does your system have? You need preferably at least 8GB to run modern games, 4GB isn't enough if you game and have also other applications running in the background.
Or could be a driver issue, you can try do a clean install of the GPU drivers (it will remove the old ones)

I have 8gb ... but I do have a extra cable that connects my Powersupply to my GPU ... like a 4 straight pins to 6 pins for the GPU ... that could be the problem ?
BTW now like in GTA V i got to 3 fps for like 50 seconds straight ......... I CANT PLAY ..

32-42 C
ingame ...
That's pretty low ...

Yes I did , GTA V , The division , CS:GO , AC3 and still ....
