Hey again!
Im planning to buy a new gaming pc and I would like to know how many fps would I get with an i5-4590 cpu and a gtx 960 I play a lot of CS:GO and I would love to know how many fps I would get with medium/high settings.

Note: I need a number or a ratio not just those people who say "60+ fps"

Hey, i would say i'm an expert in the field of CS:GO and it's relations with hardware.

CS:GO is a very CPU based game, it uses around 60% ~ 75% of my CPU in all 4 of my cores.
As for the GPU, not so much.

If your monitor resolution is 1080P or under you can expect around a 250fps+ on maxed out settings, some anti aliasing may have to be disabled for a more stable performance, however since a lot of these video settings are...

I use a i5 4690K OC 4.6 Ghz & MSI GTX 970 get a 1505 Mhz when in game completely stable overclock on the core,
I get around 380fps mostly stable. Keep in mind i do have a 1600 x 900P monitor so you will have slightly lower fps on a 1080P
FYI: Maxed Out

My friend got the same gpu but with an i7 4790k abd he gets around 400 fps. I was told that the 4590 and 4790k got very close fps, Is that true?

Very Close? No.
Kinda Close? Yes.

However if he overclocks his i7 4790K he will do much better and i am guessing the 400fps was after a bit of overclocking. You can achieve 400fps with a i7 4790K without overclocking but it won't be stable.

Expect around 250fps ~ 320fps

Uhm he's not overclocking as far as I know but thanks for your help :)
