Hi guys, I overclocked my I5's hd 4600 to 1700mhz on Intel xtu software and my voltage is currently on 1.5v. I just wanna ask if that voltage is safe or not for my cpu... i got about 38 avg fps on unigine valley, about 1638 score? (Sorry i forgot, but about 1620 to 38 score)

1280x720
Low
No AA
Dx11

I ran the benchmark and got about 61°c and in dota 2 also i got 61°c. Idle temps are about 38-41°. When not overclocked its about 36-39° idle.

Intel i5 4590
Msi H97 Gaming 3
Seagate 500gb 7200rpm
Corsair vengeance pro 2x4gb
Seasonic s12ii 520 bronze
deepcool ice edge mini fs v2.0 (I shit you not.)

I just wanna if i should lower my overclock or if its safe.

Thank you and have a great day.

My Igpu stock voltage is at 0.064V.. I didnt touch the voltage on my cpu, only the multiplier which is at 37(which is the maximum btw).

The temps i was stating was the cpu's temp. I was running RealTemp on the background and when the valley benchmark finished the maxed temp i got was 61°c. I will try to oc igpu on the bios and see if it makes a difference. Cause it keeps resetting on the intel xtu.

Okay so.... I tried overclocking in bios for an hour (cos its 4 in the morning and i need sleep) This is actually my first overclocking, I oc'd the Igpu again at 1700mhz at 1.5v like i did on the intel xtu, it was quite hard fiddling with things using bios.

I have not yet find the optimal overclock on my system, I tried the 1700mhz and 1.5v it failed miserably sadly.. it didnt pass the valley I only got to scene 5 and it crashes on scene 6. I tried turning volts down to 1.48v.. it passed scene 6 the crashed at scene 12 or 14. I tried 1.550v and 1.470v still failed. My temps were hitting 71°c.

Does that mean I should get like a better cooler or maybe sacrifice performance? (lol performance) I was thinking of turning it down to 1600mhz.
