I am debating whether getting an I5 4590 of getting an fx 6300 and OCing it a bit. Only about 300 or 400 Mhz. Here are specs for both systems. I just need some direction on which way to go.

I5 4590:
CPU: I5 4590 3.3 Ghz
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper T2
MB: Gigabyte GA-B85M-DS3H-A Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
RAM: A-Data XPG V1.0 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
PSU: Enermax 450W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
GPU: PowerColor Radeon R9 380 4GB PCS+ Video Card

FX-6300
CPU: FX-6300 3.5 Ghz
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper T2
MB: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard
Ram:G.Skill Value Series 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1333 Memory
PSU: Enermax 650W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
GPU: PowerColor Radeon R9 380 4GB PCS+ Video Card

Solution

The 4590 at stock speeds will still outperform a heavily OC'd fx 6300 in all games.

Really, its only about a 60 dollar difference for these two systems for me, but budget aside, which would have better performance in games like gta v and assassins creed games, the fx 6300 overclocked to like 4 Ghz or the 4590. The "K" version would be the 4690K right?
