Hi, which system is better?
I have two spared motherboard sets and I was wondering which one is better for school tasks and games like Fortnite, valorant, csgo, wot Blitz and minecraft.
First system:
I5-4670
Asus Z97 pro gamer
16gb ddr3
Gtx 650 2gb
M.2 ssd (not sure yet how much gb I will purchase)

Second system:
Msi 970 gaming
Amd fx-8350 safely overclocked
16gb ddr3
Gtx 650 2gb
128gb adata ssd and 500gb wd green

I think the i5-4670 is newer/faster and has support for m.2 storage. But the fx-8350 is still also a good cpu and can handle some modern games. Personally the fx-8350 set looks cleaner and I also have the cool io shield. I cant find the io shield of the i5-4670 set. What are your thoughts on this?

The Intel. But I wouldn't mess with an NVMe on that old motherboard. More hassle than benefit. Get a SATA SSD.

I already thought so, but how much better is the i5-4670 compared with the fx-8350. Are the 8 cores a benefit, or doesnt it really make a difference. Also, a few years from now. Will the i5-4670 still be a reliable cpu?

Intel system is better.
But m.2 slot runs in PCIE 2.0 x2 mode. It is 4 times slower than normal PCIE 3.0 x4 M.2 slot. Just slightly faster than sata 2.5" SSD.
Not worth to get M.2 drive for that system.
