Hi guys. So i've bought a new gtx 1060 and in Battlefield 4 i feel like my CPU is bottlenecking my graphics card. no matter how low i put the settings, the fps won't go up. i had the R9 270X before and i had around 150fps on everything low. it's the same with the 1060. that can't be..
please help

It's the CPU most likely. Overclock it (more) to try to reach 144fps minimum and enable vsync.

Otherwise, to get rid of the lag, limit the framerate below the minimum framedrops you get.
If it's a CPU bottleneck, who cares? 150fps is more than enough. It's technically a bottleneck, but I would be worried about it when a game that that the 1060 can run at 144fps just runs at <60fps.

The framerate is always bound by either the CPU or the GPU. 150fps is fine, why worry? The GPU can't render more frames than the CPU instructs it to, so naturally it has to wait when it has no instructions.

yes i have a 144hz monitor. For example: sometimes it drops from 150 to 110 and i feel a small "lag" when that happens. my cpu usage is between 85% and 100% and my graphics card is between 25 and 35%
