I am considering getting the Corsair Spec-02 case and was wondering if you can tell me if the cooler master hyper 212 evo would fit

The spec-02 could fit any of the largest aftermarket air coolers out there, the 212 is almost like a runt compared to most of them that could fit in there.

Unless you plan to OC the crap out of that thing you don't need a after market cooler, the stock is just fine.

I would probably want to overclock it, atleast a little. The most I would attempt to do would be around 3.9-4.0ghz

If you won't be going over 4.4, the 212 is just fine. I actually overclocked a 4670k once on that cooler to about 4.5 with the voltage set to 1.22

My main concern is the cooler going to be able to fit in the case I am interested in.

I was reading the case's max cpu cooler size is 157mm
Heatsink dimensions : 116 x 51 x 159 mm
Fan dimensions: 120x120x25 mm

From what I understand the cpu cooler height is like 149mm(I believe) and the SPEC-02 Case only supports 147mm. Other cases I have looked at doesn't list the supported CPU cooler height.

That spec can hold that cooler, the other said that it will fit, but if you're not sure then try this case

Oooohhh, your card is to big that is why, that cars your getting is 284mm long.

Actually that case you posted said that there are no issues, but incase you aren't sure... There corsair 200R is 10 bucks cheaper, no issues, will fit your card, your 212 and everything
