i5 4670K max temperature

Hi im using for cooling the corsair H100i i overclocked my cpu at 4.3 Ghz 1,29 Voltage the lowest temperature i get is 34C the higher is 74-75C is that normal for the push? and more importantly is it safe? i run it for 10 minutes at stress test and the higher i got was 74C

Yeah that temperature is perfectly normal. The CPU will lower its speed if it gets too hot (about 95C-100C).

According to Intel's website, i5 4670k should not reach more than 72C on the IHS. I think you're pretty much on the limit and should stress test your rig for more than only 10 minutes. Most Intel cpu's will automatically shut the system off if it reaches dangerous temps, but you still should be carefull with temps over 72C.

well at gaming in one die the is max temp 60C only in stress test it gets up so am i ok to leave it like that or lower it?

somewhere on that intel website, it advises that while the max Tcase temp is 72.72C (same as my i7-4690), that 4C +/- is within acceptable limits

Hey, I've just overclocked my 4670k to 4.4ghz at 1.27 Voltage. I'm getting around the same temps as you said. Did you ever have any problems?
