I was just wondering what the maximum core voltage for an i5 4670k is. Mine is getting 43ghz with about 1.25 vcore. With max temps around 71 degrees. From what i've seen, I got a really bad chip. I've seen people say that 1.4 vcore is fine, but others say to never go past 1.3. Do you guys think that I should increase my voltage, and if so what should i increase it to.

Solution
your cpu got 4.3ghz stable at 1.25vcore? have you tried to adjust lower than that? also dont run stress test with adaptive mode on because its the cause increasing vcore. everything should be adjust manually like override mode. and when youre done testing, switch to adaptive mode for daily use

1.3v is the max intel specs the chips to constantly run at.
They also spec 72c as the max operating (sustained useage) temp.
I have a bad chip also, but that is luck of the draw,

On the other hand, your 4670k is outperforming 4.7ghz 3570k's with haswells slightly better performance
