Hey guys I have been trying to decide between my CPU on which one to buy. I plan on overclocking so its between the 4670k or 4690k. Ive done some research and the 4590k is basically the same chip just 100mhz more, is that confirmed? Is their any other "benefits" compared to the 4670k? Thanks guys, will choose who gives the most brief explanation thanks!

The 4690k just has improved thermal properties and more capacitors for better power delivery. It's the same price as the 4670k, so there's no reason not to get it. Just make sure you have a z97 motherboard or a z87 one that supports the new processors.

A local computer store is selling the 4670k for a $20 discount and I live in canada so taxes are less so I save almost $40 on it. Should I just pick that up or wait for the 4690k at full price?
