So I have an i5 4670k and I was wondering what a safe overclock without changing the voltages would be. I just go into overclocking so I didn't want to get to crazy. My cooler is an h80i. I just wanna stay at the standard voltages. Thanks!
Well every chip is different so there is not true answer to your question. Assuming you have a z87 mobo at stock voltages I wouldn't expect more than 4ghz but with your cooler and some effort you could probably get 4.3-4.5 with voltage changes easy a little more if you really push it
for starters you can overclock and you have a good cooler to do so, but what is your chipset? H87/Z87 ect.. I would only consider OC if you have the Z87 chipset, otherwise your "k" processor is useless.
