I just installed my new gtx980ti and evga 750 power supply and everything is working good except my cpu. I did the 3d mark 11 fire strike test to see how everything was performing and got an average gtx980ti score and a very low i5 4690 physics score http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/11127164

It is important to mention that i am running windows 10 and the cpu was performing normally before the installation of the new components.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

any reason why 3d mark 11 is saying your graphics driver is not approved? Is it up to date? That CPU score is much lower than it should be for the 4690. How are the the CPU temps when benchmarking?

Get your GPU drivers up to date firstly. Are there any background programs that you are running that may be drawing CPU usage? . Your RAM , what capacity, what speed, how many sticks of RAM and are they in the correct RAM slots in the motherboard? Also what version of windows you running ?

sorry I should read better, its windows 10 64bit I presume. :)

Thanks for answering, i just updated my gpu drivers and the cpu performance is still the same. I have 8 gb of ram and the cpu is not overheating during the benchmark.
