Hi,

I have configured following setup:

http://azerty.nl/winkelmandje/winkelmandje/?legen=1&product%5B635255%5D=1&product%5B240477%5D=1&product%5B634348%5D=1&product%5B707630%5D=1&product%5B683491%5D=1&product%5B688121%5D=1&product%5B732238%5D=1&product%5B683612%5D=1&product%5B225962%5D=1&product%5B261285%5D=1

and I was wondering if I could get a 4.4-4.5GHz OC out of it? Mainly I would like to know if the Noctua is good enough to get the system stable and if the mobo is up for the task.

Is the PSU overkill or ok?

Thanks in advance!

You honestly think a D15 can handle the heat load from 5ghz on a haswell chip? Lol... Maybe if theyre both lapped and delidded, but I seriously doubt it will.

If he is lucky, then yes. 4.8GHz should be perfectly possible. More if he has a good chip.

He just did not specify in the title, if you check the link, its a K-edition.

And 5Ghz on top tier (liquid or air, not custom water loop) cooling is possible, I have done it myself with a Thermalrigth Silver Arrow SB-e .
