so my friend freak me out cuz i got my 4690 non k

this is my first build and i pick th non K cpu cuz i dont want to oc'it

is i5 4690 non k that run from 3.5 to 3.9 enough for gaming

or should pay another 200$ for a K one does the non K 4690 will stay at least 2 years

with me in gaming is it high end cpu same as K one or what?

my rig:

i5 4690
asus h97 plus
evga acx sc gtx 770 2gb
corsair 8gb ram run at 1600
Seasonic s2ii 520w

is it high end pc that will be enough for gaming

The difference between the 4690 and 4690k is usually about $15 here in US.

Given the teeny cost difference (1% in a $1500 build) I always recommend the k cause tho you may not wanna OC now, you might change your mind in a year or 2.

Now the question gets a bit harder tho than in the past .....used to be all ya gave up in exchange for saving $100 dropping from 4770 to 4670 was HT; now ya save the same $100 but dropping from the 4790 to the 4690 also costs ha drop from 4.0 Ghz to 3.5 Ghz.

thanks you

that mean if i just upgrade my ram and gpu to gtx 800 series it will not bottleneck

cuz this my first build so i only put 900$ on the table but next build it will be 1200$
