I am running an i5 4690k @3.5ghz. My idle temperatures are 70 degrees, when i was trying to benchmark it using cinebench it went up to 90 degrees Celsius. Using asus ai suite it told me my vcore temp was 55 degree celsius.

After I overclocked it to 4.3ghz at 1.2v my idle temperature went up to 80 degrees celsius and when I benchmarked using cinebench it went up to 100 degrees with a vcore temp of 70 degrees. At that point i panicked and restarted my pc and reverted all overclocking changes.

Is there something wrong with my CPU cooler or is this a normal occurrence? I am using a Cooler Master Nepton 240M

Ok I will do this in a few hours and let you know the results

I tried to reapply my thermal paste and remount my cooling block and I am still getting pretty high temps. When I turn my PC on I can hear my water pump "gurlging" water so I think it's working? These are my temps on idle and during cinebench cpu test http://imgur.com/a/DOenF where I get more than 90 degrees during cinebench stress test.
