i5-4690k or i7-4790k

I want to build a new desktop. I game very much and I often edit Full HD video's. Should I go with the i5 or the i7 with 8 threads or something else.

If you have the funds, i7 is obviously better. In editing, i7 takes a clear lead, in gaming, i5 and i7 are neck to neck.
