i5 4690k Temps

That's not dangerous in and of itself, but your load temps are probably worryingly high.

Normal? No. Your temps should be anywhere between 25C and 45C at idle. 60C only happens to my 4690K when it's under a full load with high(80F) ambient temps..

are my current temps.. I am using a 212 Evo. I don't think your cooler is mounted correctly or the thermal compound wasn't applied correctly.

I think it might be because i put my pc under my desk and i cant put it anywhere else what should i do?

The fact that it won't budge doesn't mean it's installed correctly. My 4690K is at 34C right now. That's an indication that the cooler is installed correctly. If my temperature was 60C right now I wouldn't be typing this. I'd be re-installing my cooler. My advice? Purchase a 212 Evo and then shelf or recycle that stock cooler.

Wait i found my issue as i booted up my pc to type this i went into the bios and for some reason my fan curve was weird.fixed that now my full load temps are around 50 degrees and on idle its hangs around 30 thanks for everyones help thou
