i5-4690K up to the task?

I would like to run two GTX 970s in SLI. with 2 monitors of 2K rez. (2560 x 1440 )
Anybody have a documentable idea on this? I would really appreciate it if we don't beg the question. Yes, I know there are better vid. cards and yes I know there are better CPUs lol But I got the i5 and I got the one 970 so I'm trying to see if I'll be stuck in the current config. Thanks guys... Your 4690k will handle tow 970's with out any problem.

At your resolution you wan to play your sli 970 will bottleneck way before your 4690k

Yeah 970 sli is good with 4690k.
