As the title says I want to start streaming, mainly GW2 during raids. My budget is at about 400-450€ for core, mb, ram and cpu cooler. I want to stream without sucrifising much of performance 😀. Thanks on regards.

Solution
Streaming benefits from more cores and higher clock speeds... Hence I would suggest the FX8350...
There are number of reviews and benchmarks available over the internet for both the processors... Those might give you some more idea... :)

Clock speed does not need to imply performance. What matters is how many operations per second the core can perform. A oore with lower clock speed can beat a core with a high clock speed, as we are observing within the batter among the current generations of Intel vs AMD CPUs.

Also, benefiting from extra cores can simply mean "being able to catch up with much faster Intel cores".

So the FX would be better for my setup for having major fps drips too right?

Check this once - http://http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-4690K-vs-AMD-FX-8350/2432vs1489

You can see which areas you need your processor to perform well and decide accordingly...
Some points to consider, based on my experience :-

  • Intel will be good for single thread performance
AMD one has 8 threads compared to 4 on the Intel. Multithread apps will benefit from having more threads.
Intel will run cooler and perform good under stress/load conditions

Yes... correct... But having 8 core and 8 threads will help in multi threaded apps... For gaming the 4690k is the best choice... I myself own the 4690k after upgrading from an AMD phenom II x6 1055t....

Especially for gw2, being very cpu heavy and relying on strong single core performance the fx 8350 (any and there is actually) is a horrible choice.
Also, stop that ghz and core argument already, please. A 4 core I7 at 3.5ghz is equal to a 9590fx in multi threaded performance and beating it in single core performance. Same goes for the I5's. An I5 4690k destroys the 8350fx in games.
