i5 4690k w/ msi z97m overclocking help

I have a msi z97m micro atx motherboard and am trying to overclock my 4690k and I'm having some difficulties as the bios will not let me change the CPU ratio as it is locked on 'Auto' and it will not let me change that (it says that depending on the CPU you might not be able to change). I bought the i5 4690k and not the non-K version because I wanted to overclock it and my motherboard is restricting me. What can I do? Thanks!

PS. I have a corsair h100i gtx CPU liquid cooler so there's no problems there!

try updating your bios and see how that goes

I've updated to the newest version and it doesn't make a difference?

can you take a screen shot of your bios screen, try looking through the settings? or maybe OC genie is enabled which disable manual overclocking?

I've managed to get round it now by using the intel extreme tweeting tool thing that came with the motherboard! Thanks for all the help though!
