I5 4690k with gtx 970 sli?

So I know that the i5 will be enough to run both cards but I dont know if my mobo supports 2 gpus could some one help me out? I dont know what to look for to check for compatibility and it would suck to buy a second 970 and not be able to use it.

It most definitely will. Even says SLI right on the motherboard, if you click on the pictures of it. Go for it. Just make sure you have a good power supply of at least a 750 watts and Gold certified.

That board supports SLI, however, your PSU will not be sufficient.

Unless he's changed it, an XFX 550w PSU should be enough.
Should only peak ~450w which is ~80%.

Weird choice on ram... 2x2 + 2x4?
With $8 between the kits, just go 4x4 (or better yet 2x8)

The system is already built and i have upgraded to a 850 watt psu thanks for all the input cant wait to upgrade.
