i5 4th gen or FX 8###

Hello,

I want to upgrade my CPU but my situation is a bit strange.
I have 2 systems that one has [ FX 4300 - GIGABYTE 78LMT-8G RAM] and one intel system with the following specs [PENTIUM G3258 - GIGABYTE H81-S2-8G RAM].(got a r9 280).

What i want now is to be able to play games like PUBG at decent fps from the matter of CPU and my thoughts were just two:

-Buy an old FX 8300 (i need 95w cpu because the mobo is not that good)
OR
-Buy an i5 4440/4460/4570/4590

If i buy the FX i ll buy it new but the Intel used and the prices are 90euro for the FX8300 and like 100-130 europ for used intel i5 1150.

So guys,what are your opinions about my situation?

I would like to read your thoughts and your experiences!

If you can spend more, I recommend Ryzen 3 upgrade like this:

you really should stay away from the FX series these days when you can buy used i5's cheap that will easily outperform them and with the low cost of ryzen 3 CPU's there is no reason to get a low performing CPU like the FX

I m not willing to spend money to buy a New Combo (Motherboard CPU Ram ) at the moment my only solutions are these CPUs rthat i mentioned before..

For gaming I would go with the i5 but again if you can stretch your budget and go with the Ryzen you're going be in a good position for easily next 5 years (since you can just upgrade the CPU).

That fx isn't too bad, it is 4 cores at 3.8 ghz that will turbo to 4ghz, though i do agree most FX's aren't worth it with Ryzen out now.
