i5-6400 @4.0Ghz or i7-4770. Which one should I buy?

Hi, i want to upgrade my old pc but i'm very confused. Which one should i buy for gaming and photoshop? The i7-4770 or i5-6400. Thanks everyone.

i5 is way better its cheaper but invest in a decent video card for what u save on a processors the i5s are a gamers choice & go as good or better for gaming u pay the price for an i7 but there not much in them i recomend i5 as the diffrence makes up for it as better video card its where it is in it for gaming no cpu power isnt as critical

That depends on how much money you are willing to shell out. If your willing, the core i7 is quite faster then the i5 6400 but if your going to do gaming and need a gpu, the i5 6400 is a solid cpu and you could invest more into a GPU.
