am i better of buying a new GPU or buy new CPU?GIven a Ryzen 3000 compatible mainboard, I'd look for a discrete GPU and an R5-2600/2600X if the 3600 at $174 is over-budget...(you'd likely want at least a GTX1050, which adds expense.
If your gaming needs are light, and served by going with a CPU with no discrete GPU, the 3400G (4 cores but 8 threads) would/should get the nod over the 2200G/3200G if possible....
I'd look at a B450 mainboard....
Add a discrete GPU later if your needs increase, and the R5-3600 is an incredible CPU for $175...
no i dont have any right nowDo you have a dedicated graphics card now?
as much as possible, i would like to have no 6 pin connector but if it cant be avoided, ok then.Get the dedicated GPU first, your CPU should be able to play those games smoothly with a decent GPU. For us to give you a GPU recommendation we need a budget and to know what PSU make/model.
