Hi there,
I am building my first PC and this is gonna be a bugdet build. And now one of my friends is considering to sell his quite new i5 6402p for a good price, which still has a warranty etc.
Will I face any problems with this CPU with Gtx 1060, or should I consider buying a i5 6500 as minimum. I know that p series has it's integrated graphics gimped but I will not be using that anyway.
Thanks in advance.

Solution
The i5 6402 has a base clock of 2.8ghz and a turbo speed of 3.4ghz.

The i5 6500 has a base clock of 3.2ghz and a turbo speed of 3.6ghz.

I agree that the difference would likely be negligible most of the time.
You are aware of how intel turbo works, right? Speed value depends on core count, for 6402/6500 it looks like this:

base: 2800 / 3200
1 core turbo: 3400 / 3600
2 core turbo: 3400 / 3500
3 core turbo: 3300 / 3400
4 core turbo: 3200 / 3300

Given sufficient cooling (and stock cooler is more then enough) under heavy load cpu defaults to 4 core turbo. Hence real life difference between 6402 and 6500 is usually 100ghz.
