i5 650 3.2ghz VS i3 3240 3.40 GHz (Which one is better?)

For Gaming...i have only this two options, which one should i use? which one is better?

i3 3240 all the way man but if you like the classic nothing wrong with the i5

If it has to be between those 2, I'd go i3. But given a choice, if on a budget, I'd rather have a Ryzen 3 quad.
