i5 6500 gtx 1070

Hello, i have a 1070 strix and an i5 6500 along with 8 gb ddr4 ram. In alot of games im not achieving 60+ fps. Mostly it is in games with a lot if players ie ( bf1, swbf 2, etc.) Im only at 1080p. I was wondering if my cpu would be the culprit. I also notice alot of suttering as well. Thx for the help

Games like Battlefield are very demanding on the CPU, so it could be the culprit. But there is not bottlenecking. Could also be the ram, as I've heard Battlefield needs a bit more than 8 gb of ram to perform well.
