Hi guys,
Ive scrapped an i5 6500 out of an old PC that stopped working, I was wondering If I could pop it into a new lga 1151 socket mobo, I have noticed a lot of these new LGA 1151 have either exclusive Coffeelake support for the 9th Gen, or they are 7th and 8th gen support only,
My question is are any of them backwards compatible considering that they are all LGA 1151 socket ?
Cheers,
