Hi guys. I'm thinking about upgrading my system. I currently have an I5 6500 and I really wanna boost my system. Do you think AMD Ryzen 5 3600 will be a good boost?

I currently have a GTX 970 4gb as well, 16gb RAM 2400mhz, and a Seasonic MII Evo edition 620w 80+ Bronze.

Do you think there will be some bottleneck between the cpu and GPU?

And If so, I'm thinking on changing my GPU as well but I'm on a budget. Which do you guys recommend under 250€?
I was thinking about RX580 8GB, or If I have more money, a GTX 1660 Super.

Thank you.

Yes it'll be a decent upgrade. Id see how your 970 performs first but yeah, 1660 super for sure.

What plans do you have for a motherboard? Msi B450 Tomahawk Max (Max series supports 3rg gen out of the box) and is pretty decent quality and doesn't cost all that much.

Ram, 2400 is on the low side for Ryzen. It'll still run ok but think about maybe selling them and shoot for 3200/3600MHz ram in future.

I'm thinking on buying a used GTX 1070 for 160€. An Asus DUAL OC GTX 1070 8GB.

the 2400mhz ram will affect that much on gaming?

How much more is the 1660 super compared to used 1070? 1060 is equivalent to a 1070ti~1080, 1660super is a fair bit faster.
I've seen reviews and comparisons and the gtx 1070 can keep up very strong against a gtx 1660 super. A new gtx 1660 super is nearly 300 euros here in Portugal. A used 1070 i can find for 180, maybe 170 eur. I can't find a 1660super used here at that price point so I think it is a good deal

Actually your right. I was thinking about something else.

So I'm pretending to sell the ram and get a new pair of 3200mhZ CL 16, 8x2gb. What do you think?

Yeah, thats good.

There's a guy selling an Asus TUF Rtx 2060 for 300€. If I can get to 250€, do you think it's a good deal?

Can be a good deal. Difference vary from game to game.

Based on benchmarks and performance I will buy the asus tuf rtx 2060 for 280eur. It's almost brand new. Bought on this Christmas and used only a week after his wife buy him an AMD rx 5700xt. It's still on warranty, so I think is a good deal

Yeah, thats good.
I already upgraded my PC. Not completely, but I have a new motherboard. Asus TUF B450 plus, which is fine (didn't want too spend to much money on a motherboard ), AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and 16GB Kit DDR4 RAM 3200MHz, and I've already set the XMP profile to that frequency. All I can say is, what a boost! So many games I can play with much more fps, and didn't even still upgraded the GPU. This CPU is soo worth for the price. But I'm going to buy an ASUS TUF RTX 2060 this saturday.
