Here is a comparison between the i5 661 and i5 750... Intel Core i5 661 - 3.33GHz - 512KB L2 - 4MB L3 vs. Intel Core i5 750 - 2.66GHz - 1MB L2 - 8MB L3

The i5 750 is the winner is the better CPU, specially at the same price... IMO
