i5 6600 and 6600k

Is there any major differance b/w I5 6600 and 6600k in gaming. which one I can go for.

You can pair the i5-6600 with a H170 board and use as is, or, you can spend more money and get the 6600K with a Z170 board and a high power cooler and overclock. Both cpu's turbo to 3.9 Ghz. without overclocking. IMO, the i5-6600 with H170 board is enough for a good gaming system, but opinions vary.
