I5 6600 i5 6600k

Hello I’m new to building computers I was looking into the cpu support of my ASUS b150 pro gaming motherboard the cpu I have chosen is the i5 6600 or the unlocked version I’m planning to purchase this through amazon and the item discription says “computer memory type ddr3 Sdram” I have ddr4 memory I would this be a problem ?

The chosen i5 will work with the motherboard you referenced, along with compatible DDR4 memory.

Ignore the entry referring to DDR3 memory (which will only work with a DDR3 compatible motherboard). The CPU will work with both DDR4 and DDR3 memory, dependent on the type used by the motherboard (supported by its chipset).
