i5 6600 Maxed out With Xsplit

My pc Specs are as follows.

i5 6600
32Gb Ddr 4 Memory
970 SC Evga
500Watt Psu
Small cube case
Windows 10 pro.

Running any game and xsplit at the same time, i am getting over 100fps but my CPU is maxed out at 100% usage, Do i really need to upgrade this new CPu already to a i7?

Using obs and x264 I max around 90% in the heaviest cpu areas of games.

You can use quick sync (which uses the igpu) which has no impact on CPU usage but quality suffers.

What games are we talking?

Just WoW for example. Running that, with spotify some razer addons. CPU usage is 100% And doesnt budge, Causes stream to sometimes lag. Fps is over 100.

Is wow cpu bound? Is your monitor 60hz? Lock max frames at 60 and cpu usage will drop.

If that's a 6600k, an overclock will also help

on Xsplit im set to stream to 720p with 30 fps. In game im running over 100 fps. I dropped settings slightly , didnt make a difference

Just a regular 6600.
thinking of just going to the 6700K i7. I would think i would see a drastic improvements

I dont have the game so can't confirm. You could try using intel quick sync. Enable igpu in bios, install intel vga drivers and then in xplit set quicksync. Quality suffers a bit.

Also running 3 monitors. My main is a benq 27inch for Gaming, Two sides are for Spotify xsplit etc.
