Question i5 6600 OC help?

i have msi z170a m3 gaming motherboard along with rtx 2060 and i5 6600, i know my cpu cant keep up with the rtx 2060, today i tried to oc in bios settings but i cant seem to OC it no matter what i did, then i did a quicj research on google and then found out non k versions are basicly cant be overclocked, is that true ? if it is then is there any way to work around ?

Well its true that k stands for overclocking in processors. i dont really see a way you can go around it rather than upgrading ur cpu.
