Hello everyone. Sorry if this isn't the right thread for my question, but I believe there is someone to help me.

I'd like to buy an i5 6600K from Amazon, because it's 75$ cheaper from there compared to my local e-shops, which is the main reason why.

The problem is that I have never bought anything from this site, and I'm a little bit worried about a few things.
1) Is the product being sold by Intel, or some random guy?
2) Is there a classic 3-year warranty?
3) If there is a warranty, and my CPU breaks or will be shipped to me broken already, what to do? How do I send the CPU back to the seller? Will they repair it or ship me a new CPU? Take in mind that I'm from Europe (Czech Republic), and it is shipped from USA I guess.

Sorry if those questions are dumb (and even described on amazon - I couldn't find them), but answering my questions would help me a lot.

Without a link to the item we can't answer these question specifically.

That said...
Amazon vets their sellers, if you have any issues with the seller you can take it up with amazon and they will help you.
Warranty is impossible to answer without a link to the sale, for all we know it is a used item being sold - i can't tell without the item page.
Warranty claims are made with the manufacturer, Intel. If you do an RMA in 30 days that would be directly to the seller.

Amazon is a huge and reliable online merchant. I'm not sure they are going to ship to you though, definitely want to make sure of that first.

Oh, sorry for not posting the link... Here it is - shortened. https://goo.gl/jyzd90
As I found out though, the shipping would cost me something about 65$ (even with the longer delivery - 9-14 days). Which is ridiculous, I'd buy it only because of the low price, but this sucks...

Yeah that is what I figured.
Sold and shipped by Amazon, totally legit but yeah shipping is killer

that shipping price is correct (I do international shipping at work) sending stuff across the ocean is expensive unless it travels by ship and you can only do that with large bulk.

You know that Amazon has EU branches right? Not sure if its cheaper than what you looked at already (US prices are lower because we don't have a VAT tax) but you'd avoid the cross Atlantic freight cost that way.
