i5 6600k OC drop

hi,

my 4.5ghz OC when running prime for 3-5 minutes drops to stock multiplier of 35, then instantly goes back up to 45. i repeats this process constantly.

im running @ 1.36 Vcore and temps never go above 65c before the drop starts.

any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Do you have c-states and speedstep disabled?

yes, all those features are disabled.

It's your motherboard VRM's overheating. I had the same problem. Got a motherboard with heatsinks, and the problem went away.
