i5-6600k or i7-6700k

hi guys im looking to buy a new cpu for gtx 1070 but i don't really know which one to buy.for gaming. in my country the i7 costs 360$ while the i5 250$

The i5 would be fine. You don't need to spend the extra $110.

What resolution and Hz is your monitor? For high Hz/fps the i7 can give material gains but for 60Hz/fps there is far less benefit, often none.

im using an 2560x1080 lg ultrawide monitor and it's 60hz

I would get the i5 if you plan to stick with that monitor, you wont see much of a benefit with an i7.

I'm playing 1440p 144Hz + GTX1070 with an i5. almost same performance as an i7.
